Michael Kiel, MA, LPC
Michael Kiel, MA, LPC is a Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist and Behavioral Treatment Licensed Supervisor. Michael has over10 years of experience working with children and families who struggle with challenges associated with autism. He graduated from Cardinal Stritch University with a Master’s Degree in counseling in 2016.
Michael has a deep passion to help children, adolescents, and adults with different behavioral and mental health concerns. He utilizes a variety of different behavioral and emotional techniques that can be individualized to meet your specific needs. His therapeutic approach will always remain collaborative and non-judgmental. Therefore, whether you are struggling with anxiety or depression, low self-esteem or anger management issues, he will take the time to listen to your problems and work with you to create your own personal story of change toward a better life.
Michael is also available to provide child and adolescent diagnostic assessments related to cognitive abilities, academic achievement, and social/emotional understanding. If you are a parent who suspects that your child has a learning disability, he can provide the necessary assessment(s), under the supervision of our licensed psychologist. Michael is NOT currently offering psychological or diagnostic testing, but this may be offered again in the future.
Michael provides outpatient therapy, focused treatment for autism spectrum disorders, and diagnostic evaluations for a variety of childhood and learning challenges.
Amber Stroud, MS, LPC
Amber Stroud, MS, LPC is a Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist and Behavioral Treatment Licensed Supervisor for Focused Treatment. Amber received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Master of Science degree in Counseling, both from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She is a Certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) therapist, which is an evidenced-based treatment for children, aged 2-7, with behavior challenges.
Amber has over 15 years of experience working with children and adolescents in both in-home and inpatient settings. She worked extensively with children on the autism spectrum specializing in work with children with severe behavioral challenges. She also focused her work with children with dual diagnoses including, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and ADHD.
As an experienced therapist, Amber integrates a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy, coaching clients to identify solutions and help decrease stress and unwanted behaviors. Amber helps clients set personal goals, as well as developing tools tools and creative strategies to obtain them.
Amber provides outpatient therapy and focused treatment for children and adolescents with ASD. Amber also provides and diagnostic evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults (aged 18 months to 21 years) suspected of having autism.
Matt Vahl, MS, LPC, NCC
Matt Vahl, MS, LPC, NCC is a Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist. Matt completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology at Marquette University and Master of Science degree in counseling at Mount Mary University.
Matt has worked in the field of autism since 2009, working one-on-one with clients, and supervising paraprofessionals. After receiving his Master’s degree, he began providing outpatient psychotherapy services. iMatt also has worked as a counselor at a local elementary school.
As a psychotherapist, Matt works collaboratively with individuals and families. He utilizes a variety of cognitive-behavioral techniques to help clients reach their personal goals. Matt specializes in treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other related emotional & behavioral disorders.
